For some reason we cannot exactly pinpoint it out, we have been expecting a major disaster like this for a while since before Thanksgiving.

After the the Woods Gate, the Underwaear-Bomber Scare, and then the 6.5-Quake in Eureka... preceded by several 7.0 quakes or stronger elsewhere around the globe, we were starting to wonder if we've dodged the bullet.

And then this happened.

Some had speculated the casualties at around a hundred thousands. If that's the case, then maybe this is it. This would be one of the deadliest natural disasters humankind had endured.

Not to downplay the calamity Haitian people is suffering. Our prayers are with them. We wish them the best, and hope a lot of knid-hearted people will come to their aid. However, we are still afraid that that's not the case. Tragic as it may be right now, we should take this event as a warning, to try to cope with it, and learn how to deal with an even more disastrous event.

Whatever narure is about to spring upon us, could be much more powerful than what has happend in Haiti.

And now this earthquake in Japan.

Is that what we should be ready for?

God bless us all.
