Detectives are hunting for the hooker (pictured above) who ripped off over $500,000 in baubles from a hapless gem trader after he fell asleep in a Tribeca hotel room.

The sticky-fingered prostitute, Erika Cooper, 34, of Manhattan, had initially met Kurt Kaiser, 47, in the Whiskey Bar on Central Park South on April 17.

Kaiser told The Post that he had been drinking heavily and drowning his sorrows after losing out on a deal to sell the uncut stones
.

After Cooper chatted him up for 45 minutes, she suggested they go to the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Tribeca to get a room, Kaiser said.

Kaiser said he was more than happy to oblige while eyeing her sexy short black skirt and high heels.
They first took a cab to A CVS store, where she used his credit card to purchase a $500 gift card and a box of condoms, he said.

Then they drove to the Cosmopolitan, rented a room and had sex.

Afterward, Kaiser fell asleep and Cooper dashed away with the briefcase full of diamonds.
